Hi - Have WeChat audio files in aud.silk format and can’t convert to mp3 or wav. Been researching for hours, tried Audacity and it didn’t work so think it’s a settings issue. Any tips on this? Thanks. If you’re using Audacity 1.2: (1) Launch Audacity and open your recording file. (2) Go to the File menu and drag down to Export to WAV. (3) Give the file an appropriate name and then follow the steps below to convert it. Go to File. Select Apply chains…. Select the chain, in my case ‘Normalize to -0.1dB’. Select Apply to files. Browse to the file folder and choose files. Select Open. Converted files will be placed in a folder called cleaned inside the folder of the selected files.

Locate the file that you want to convert and click Open. Once the files has been imported, click on File once again and select Export. Type in any information data for the file and click OK. Now type in the file name, saving destination and set the format to WAV.
