The remoate central locking suddenly stopped working on my 03 Stilo (co-incidenally around the same time my 2 year old discovered the key), so I can open the doors by putting the key in the lock but pressing the buttons on the fob does nothing. Greetings My fiat stilo has recently stopped locking the drivers door with the key fob. It locks fine when using the key and all doors also lock using key. The central locking is working for all other doors wine so i suspect it to be a electrical issue.
Key is ordered from dealer using VIN and will take 5 days plus. If its a remote key approx £130. You then need to have the key cut and programmed to the car using the keycut and electronic codes also bought from dealer. Usually cheaper to call an autolocksmith as he can come to you rather than you having the car transported to the dealer.
